Our Principles

Our Principles

We bring a strong ethic of professionalism from both the worlds of medicine and the culture of client service from our time at McKinsey.

We believe that a strong advisory or consulting relationship stems from trust, and that trust must come from a belief that we are looking out for your interests over our own.

Our principles:

  1. Focus on client interests over our own. If we’ve accepted a project, our job is to ensure that we help uncover the best possible answer for you.   This includes project structures where we will bring in experts, buy reports, etc through an active discussion over focusing on optimizing our own billable hours.
  2. Honesty and objectivity. We believe that honesty and candor is the best way to get to the heart of complex issues.  We will call things as we see them, to better ensure that we are helping you solve your most important challenges in the best way possible.  We will also lay out clearly our assumptions and considered options to make sure that all important factors have been considered.
  3. Drive to Insight and Successful Execution.  Our success isn’t measured by the number of powerpoint slides or complex analytical formulas.  Instead, it’s doing the right work and unearthing the key insights that bring the right answer together.  In addition, we have the flexibility to be able to stay with a project and ensure that it achieves the appropriate momentum and leadership for operational and financial success.
  4. Confidentiality. We treat client conversations and material in a way that respects their confidential nature.
