Who we are
Vijay Goel, MD. Principal
Vijay is the founder of Goel Insights. His background combines a range of experiences across innovation, strategy, technology, and health care.
After completing medical school, Vijay was a consultant at McKinsey & Co, where he served clients across a range of industries including health care, financial services, private equity, media, and technology. Prior to founding Goel Insights, Vijay was CEO of HealthShoppr.com, a company focused on creating tools to comparison shop for health services and book health appointments utilizing frameworks focused on customer experience, differentiated service models, training, tools, and other elements providing differentiation. Previously, Vijay had been Sr. Director at X PRIZE Foundation leading the effort to develop a $10M+ WellPoint Health X PRIZE focused on demonstrating a 50%+ improvement in value for health expenditures.
Vijay lives with his wife, Elizabeth, in Southern California.

We bring entrepreneurial energy and a pragmatic mindset to help you work through complex issues without bogging down in the elegant but useless analytics that can come with bright but inexperienced people. We have an agile mindset and can bring as many, or as few, resources to a problem as required to get the job done. We can work on your projects in the following ways:

- Facilitation/ moderation of meetings or interviews
- Authoring of publications, reports, books, etc.
We are also offer a number of services based on our own initiatives and are incubating several entrepreneurial initiatives in-house.
